Sourcing MP3s or even better, WAVS - for DJs

Ok team, I'm a bit new to this Ableton lark, so be gentle...

Anyway, my quandry is this...
I am trying to put together a dj/remix set, but I am having problems sourcing material to use for my set. I know most djs have turntables, and buy their records from over the counter shops, however, I don't want to have to invest in a few hundred quid for a decent turnatable and mixer/amp, or invest in a soon to be obsolete format

just to get some mp3s/wavs for use in my sets. Thing is, I'm not finding many websites out there selling high quality mp3s or wavs. The only one Ive found so far, which I know def sells some of my favourite labels wares is Beatport.com.

However, there are loads of bits n bobs that they don't do, so does anyone have any suggestions of where to look??? People will no doubt suggest P2P but apart this being illegal, the quality of most of the files on P2P are rubbish anyway, so other suggestions would be great.

My tastes are varied but mainly in the Progressive house/breaks/techo mould so any leads along these lines is greatly recieved.

Check out beatport.com which (although sells mp3 downloads as <$2 per song) will send you WAVs on a CDR for something like 50cents extra per track.

It's only a matter of time before they offer WAV as a download option. Their choice is limited if compared to current online retailers like Juno.co.uk, but the only way to make sure ppl like this flourish is to support them now.

Nice suggestions. Indie is less my thing for djing, but it could be useful for someone else. EDM looks like a cool resource. There must be more out there though. Any more ideas???

Don't worry about it Disuye - best intentions and all that.
Still though, I think it's quite mental that this post ahs been up for about 2 days, and weve only managed to come up with 4 websites selling dance music mp3s? There must be more than that, or I'm resigned to buying a deck. It wouldn't be so bad if CD singles were freely available for most labels, but most of the gear available seems to be on vinyl. Downloading tracks is mega convernient if your preparing a DJ set - no mucking about waiting for stuff to come through in the post. It's Essential...

Any more for anymore??? Or is this one of the industry secrets...

i use beatport and i really like them. it really depends on what you like though. their progressive breaks offering is dismal, yet their progressive house is quite good. i dont play trance anymore, so i cant comment on that, as i never even look.
