Horizontally I think the space is great, though I sometimes struggle with vertical space. With inputs, sends, expanded faders and devices showing, you'll see only 2 or 3 scenes. It's not bad, but depending on how you work, you'll probably have to do some vertical space management.
Also, I've sometimes had some trouble fitting it in a DJ booth. With connectors on both sides, its footprint is about an inch or an inch and a half more on each side. That's the only reason why I'd rather have a 13" one, but I don't think I'd trade down on screen size.
