Post by willdahbe » Sun Oct 25, 2009 2:37 am

i'm feeling the need to get down with some ep... i'm in the middle of wyoming and nothing to do but booze, internet (surprisingly), and music. any good au/vst plugs? sorry for the drunk lazyness, should've been the easiest thing to find ever..

Whats the budget, and how do you feel about Rock Organ. Linplug has just the most wicked organ plug, and it may have a few descent piano presets.

Give the demo a whirl.

Now, if you are really craving Piano. And organ doesn't do it for you.

Scarbee! He has four, perfectly sampled, absolutely wicked electric pianos.

slowly step away from the computer and put away your credit card.. nothing like feeling like a hangover the next day and remembering you bought a electric piano vst/au without fully having time to shop around and try demos..

i'm no electric piano expert, but the new Rhodes and Wurlitzer addons for Pianoteq 3 sound really good to me (and being modelled and not sampled, they are great to play)...

+1!! Ableton's Electric has become my go to EP. You might want to throw some chorus and other stuff on it depending on how drunk you really are.

we've all done it

but seriously, what the hell is wrong with electric? It's lounge lizard which to my memory was considered the best EP around at one point there

you can do something with electric + live's fx

I think Electric is great. I own Lounge Lizard too and the only difference is the Lizard's built in FX and the interface.

well i totally ended up getting even more drunk, and didn't buy anything. it's pretty bad when you can't navigate the internet. i think i just ended up looking at pron or something. although i have been testing out pianoteq and it's pretty cool. lots of nice parameters to tweak on the ep's. especially liking the spectrum profile parameters for sound shaping. going to have a look at a few more ep's after i work with this for a bit.
