I'm trying to take advantage of the windows 7 student offer for $29.99. Since its a digital download, you can't upgrade from Vista 32bit to 7 64bit cuz that requires a physical disc (which i can't get for $13 if need be).
I have 4gb of ram, so my understanding is that 32bit 7 will recognize this as about 3.4gb after I/O reservations. If i did get 64bit, would i be able to utilize more of the 4gb of ram compared to the 32bit or does the ram bonus only make a difference at 5gb+?
Are there any advantages to using Live and my Virus Ti at 32 or 64bit? Thx.
