LIve 8 crashes instantly with certain tracks! OSX 10.6.1

With OSX 10.6.1 certain tracks make Live 8 to crash instantly...
It's really strange, because some other tracks just work fine

I think it has something to do with certain plugins, but I'm not sure...

Anyone with the same problem?

Yes, I have just started using Live again and it's uncharacteristically crashy in 10.6.1 when changing parameters in Live instruments. I know it is unsupported as yet in Snow Leopard but still.....it's very un-Ableton to be so unstable on OSX.

I'll send my crash logs in.

Only strange things is that there's nothing about the crash in the crashlog...

The only log I get is from Apple itself when it has crashed, which it sends automatically to Apple...is that the same log, or a different one?

i'm having this exact same problem but i'm on a pc. it started after i reinstalled windows (before that i was running 8.0.4 perfectly). after i reinstalled windows i updated to 8.0.5 which is when it started crashing if i tried to load in certain tracks. whenever it crashed it made my sound card software (e-mu patchmix dsp) crash also. so i decided to reinstall my sound card software and drivers as well as reverting back to 8.0.4, but i'm still having the same problems. it only seems to be 1 track in every 8 or so but it's still very annoying and seems completely random as to which tracks make it crash. also, some tracks that worked fine before i reinstalled are affected. i have found that if i load a track that induces a crash into adobe audition and resave it as a new file without saving extra non-audio information (i.e. without any tags) then the new file will work fine in live. any help will be appreciated.

It still crashes after the latest update! This is seriously disappointing...

I know it's the VST's that causes the crash, but they used to do it, so why not now?

Ableton is this a problem that will be fixed, or am I just screwed?
