live crashes a lot with 8.0.8 and i get a hell of a lot of Not Responding freezes....

Windows X or OSX mang?
What are you doing when it happens?
Using any 3rd party toys?

me too. its mostly a Maschine/ Omnisphere combo.

I'm getting the same thing. Just installed 8.0.8 today and have two instances of 8.0.8.exe running at the same time, can't kill with task manager, can't start up another instance of live.

Running win7 (ga)...8.0.5 was running fine. No log.txt file in preferences folder.

Hate to hear that problem is still happening even with Windows 7, and the fact that Ableton hasn't fixed it.

Used to just have to restart my Vista laptop and it would open fine, until next time...
