any updates to this thread? Windows 7 has been released and some multi-touch monitors that utilize Windows 7 multitouch are out for purchase.

Looking for some software to translate to touches to MIDI CC notes... any ideas?

I hope Apple and Microsoft can get their heads together to define a standard programming model for multitouch displays. Probably too much to hope for though.

Ideally Microsoft would adopt the same API for touch events and finger tracking as Apple have done on the iphone version of Safari. But I suspect patent issues and "not invented here" syndrome will prevent common sense from prevailing.

So I've only vaguely heard of those programs. I'm guessing they are translators for touches to MIDI cc.

But what software is out there that will create a display similar to monotouchlive, so that we can actually utilize the multitouch and load sliders/buttons/rotary pots onto the external touchscreen display?
