he explains it as the pentatonic scale sort of being built into the human psyche but if you pay attention, he has to cue away from the heptatonic scale when he introduces the 4th note

the large chorus masks the 10% that were totally off, and as long as 15-20% of the crowd could have done it solo the entire crowd will tune to them

i dont know, the more times i see this the less amazing it is

Its a great vid to be sure.

All my compositions are rooted in the pentatonic scale. that is to say solos /bass lines etc are all rooted in the tonic/4th or 5th pentatonic scale.
