I split up with my missus
Re: I split up with my missus
no, you don't sound pissed in the least bit, you seem like a very happy individual. it was just a respectful shout out to the single guys out there in the trenches before some married guy tells them how it is. I totally respect the path of the single guy it's not easy.

ThrowAway... did you throw away every girl you've had? lolThrowAway wrote:Girls are like pigeon shits, you can find them any where you go.
@ Necho: 3 years are NOTHING.
you won't have missed so much.
Re: I split up with my missus
Nope. two or three threw me away. Im just saying on an average day I can go out and meet three-four women comfortably. If I try to talk to a girl in every single place I go I could probably meet 6-10.monstrejumo wrote:ThrowAway... did you throw away every girl you've had? lolThrowAway wrote:Girls are like pigeon shits, you can find them any where you go.

I need some relationship advice I was with a girl once who I was working on a project with out of state that we made a commitment to be there for 4 months and be staying in the same house. I left two weeks before her and every thing was great. It was probably the best relationship Ive ever had. Until she got there and immediately broke up with saying she couldnt handle the stress of a committed relationship. She totally expected me to stay and be fine with this. We were in a non committed relationship for a year and a half hanging 3 times a week, there was very little time to do anything with anyone else. We were probably committed 4 months before this incident. Shes now calling me saying she wants to be friends and that shes sorry but she did nothing wrong. I just started a committed relationship maybe three weeks ago with a new girl whom I feel very so-so about. I would have married the first girl. What should I do?
PS I told the other girls I was seeing that I am in a committed relationship now so my trampy ways have been stopped.

@ThrowAway, you'll hate hearing this, but stay away. Personally lack of ability to make decisions and stick to them, and desire for the emotional support you gave her (ie "Let's remain friends"), means she's needy, and prone to drama IMO. Plus you really dug her, but she wasn't that into you in the end of the day. I can create enough heartache without it standing in front of me with a set of breasts I once played with and a desire to still emotionally get attention from me.
Seriously, been there, done that, it's not worth it.
Of course if you don't mind the drama, use your new girlfriend to rub it in her face until you're certain she regrets dumping you, and get her back, but she'll cheat on you, no doubt. I'm reading a lot into this, but I swear to god I've dated your girlfriend.

Its all relative, monsieur.... It's my longest relationship so far...monstrejumo wrote:

I think I'm going to go student hunting next weekend. [homer] mmmmmmm - students.... [/homer]
heh - yeah.... my mates keep giving me advice, asking if I'm ok etc... it seems that the story of how it all happened has already been quite heavily fictionalized... with me as the villain of course... so predictable...

You know, I look back on all that with fondness now even the bad times with GFs. You can relax a bit when you've been married ten years.
Without being too slushy, I know I married the right girl and I know we'll always be there for each other so it really is nice to be able to looik back on all the previous relationships with find memories.

I've dated more than one girl like that so I wanted to make sure I added a plus one for some of them too.
Re: I split up with my missus
MW- I thought about it some more today and figured I should stay away. I called to tell her so when her daughter answered and was really happy to talk to me and she asked me if me and her mom were going to be friends. I then totally pussied out and told her probably. I was pretty close to this girls daughter as well. I then called my new girl friend and broke up with her because I know what will happen if I hang out with my ex and I really couldnt see anything becoming of it anyways, the more I got to know her the more annoying she became.
Re: I split up with my missus
It's probably for the best, you won't have any time for her now you have M4L in your life

ThrowAway, no sane human can withstand the mighty 'cute' power of a little girl.
Only suck is I still think I'm right, the mom is going to mess with your head, it's possible you look back years from now and realize the annoying thing about your recent ex was that she wasn't a kook. <-- at least I've had that realization before.

i recommend that you take some pills, wash them down with vodka, turn off your cell phone, put on disintegration, get under the covers, and don't move (that way it won't hurt).

Do not be lukewarm. If she's the one get her back. If not move on. Life is short, there's several billion women out there. At least a few hundred million think you're good looking, a couple million want you in the sack, several hundred thousand would make great missuses, and at least a quarter million could be 'the one.'
