i wanted a simple stage stand that was not a table...
found this:

Then, got a 3/4" thick 10x10" piece of plywood, sunk in some capped nuts, and can bolt the yamaha mount to the bottom of the board - board to the mic stand - LP velcos to the board!
Pics soon... I've got to go play with a drill and some epoxy.
