Check Out My Custom APC40 Stand

After looking around for a decent stand for my APC40, and seeing how expensive stands are I decided to make my own.

Materials used PVC pipe/ connectors / Hack saw / Measuring Tape.

Results very sturdy, and comfortable.

Not finished yet because I have to prime and paint.

If he did, he didn't prime the joints!!!!

I'm a pipefitter, so of course I like it!!!!!

I wonder if that would fit around a turntable so you could put it over one in a DJ booth.

Thanks everybody for your comments. The joints are not glued yet that will be this weekend and then comes the primer and paint. I will paint it all black so it could match the APC40. Any suggestions ?

this looks like a laptop stand that is out there, search the forums you'll find it, they have yellow black and white, swear looks just like that, pipe tubing and all.

yes there is a laptop stand made out of the same materials. The difference is the price. My method cost me under $20.00 dollars (3/4" PVC pipe, connectors, white primer, flat black paint). Now if you order the one u saw online it's going to cost you about $70.00 dollars. Just finished bonding the joints and tomorrow will be primer and paint day
