i love mine! solid build, not had any problems with it playing live. the knobs are a little cone shaped and close together but other than that i think its an amazing controller!

do you use the BCR 2000 also to trigger clips ?

i heave read in the manual that it is possible to launch clips withe the rotary buttons, ever tried that ?

Well I use a rotary to select a scene and then a button to lauch the selected scene. That works fine. Don't really see a reason to use a rotary to launch a clip, although I don't see why it wouldn't work. i would think it would fire once the value goes above 64. If I have some time later maybe I'll try it.
The question is not whether or not you are influenced, but rather what it is that influences you.

i have read the manual allready (very quickly) (did not buy the thing yet).

But is it true that if you use the ''encoder groups'' you have 32 rotary/push buttons at the ''same time'' ?

Also handles beer spills well... Saturday night a friend loaded his set on my laptop and used my BCR2000... Well I neglected to mention to him "No drinks by my gear"... Well when it came to my set 2 of the knobs where wet and not working... As the set progressed all kinds of shit was fucking up... Had to end up using the mouse... Next day removed the knobs sprayed some contact cleaner on the pots gave a couple of spins and good as new...

I`d heard not too nice stuff about build quality, size and drivers.

All I can say is,

BOLLOCKS!

It`s very nice indeed.

I`d only seen pictures of it on the net before, but I went into the local music shop yesterday and they had a BCF on demo and I was very impressed by it. Nice and compact, smooth knobs and great build quality (the back and base of the unit is metal).

Anyhoo, they got a BCR from their warehouse and after taking it home I installed on the lappy and everything is smashing. Great price too.

Now how does this MIDI stuff work?

Ahh...

I`LL READ THE FUCKING MANUAL.

How do you set up the rotary on these Behringer boxes to select a scene? I would love this ability, but can't figure it out.

Click on the MIDI button and you will see 4 new controls pop up on the master track, under the "Stop Clips" button. The rightmost of these is "Scene Select" - a little square box with a number in it. Assign a rotary control to that and your away.
