Windows 7 Live 8.0.9 Packs not installing fully

Hello

Ive just installed Live 8.0.9 LE from 7 LE and the default packs are not installing fully. I get the message they have only partially installed. Ive tried running in Vista compatibility mode and with administrator rights. I assume this a Windows 7 problem. Anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Any help much appreciated. Thanks

I'm running Windows 7 x64 and installed 8.0.8 just fine. I'm downloading 8.0.9. If it doesn't work right I'll let you know.

same problem here. update to 8.0.9 from 8.0.8 doesn't work correctly. i narrowed it down to the live8library update to v8.6. everything else installs fine.

you do realize that packs only get installed/updated from what's in your library.. just because it says something wasn't installed doesn't mean you don't have it. it just means you didn't need it

If youve installed from scratch though as Ive done surely everything is needed and therefore installed?

i had this problem on win7 x64 also. i killed off the live and restarted it - when it started up again it got stuck in the same place for a while but did eventually continue and finish the process ok.

It does finish the process of installing the packs (it doesnt freeze or crash) but just doesnt install everything. In Live device browser there are folders where I assume there should be something (ie synth lead) which are empty.

well different users are having various issues with this one.. I'v edropped to 8.04 for now.. more stable I find

Where can I get 8.0.4? Can't seem to find it on the site.

Well I seem to have solved this problem by disabling Antivirus while installing pack. Thanks to those who offered advice.
