Is there a way to import a midi track without consolidating it into one long clip?
I need to merge a number of different midi tracks which contain midi patch changes and as soon as I consolidate them they only contain the one....
(Also has anyone had any problems with importing midi files from Protools? Cos I have...)

you can't make several program changes in one midi clip, you need to create as many clips as there are program changes
or i have missed something...
RS7000 >> Live 4.1.4 >> Virus B
Desktop : Win XP Pro SP1, E-MU 1212M
Laptop : Win XP Pro SP2, M-Audio FW410

Yeah, unless I have as well that's what I think.
It just makes it a real pain if you have to cross reference where the midi clips were on that track in order to re-position them in the new set....
