Say it, Brother!

Fucking Rewire. Joke. I've never lost more hours than I have in the past 4 days after trying to get nonome, Launchpad, and mlrV to try and sync with Live. What a goddamn nightmare. 8O

its true propellorheads don't know how to tell time!

rewire, bah..

i stopped using it years ago when it would never EVER EVER stay in sync.

I`m excactly the same have learnt too many DAW`s and VST`s to learn something else again even though I know M4Live is a visual thing but hey time consuming just wanna try and make music now

All I Want To Know :

1 Will there be a user library like reaktor so you can download other peoples works of genius

2 Where will this library be located with ableton or cycling 74

3 Will I have to pay the big bucks for the full version of M4live or will there be a lite version ( seeing that ableton has now a lite version)

Cheers and sorry if its already been asked

I stopped using rewire for the same reasons to. Way too long to set up, unreliable performance, and heavy on my little macbook's cpu all are factors that have taken me away from this workflow. Actually, I prefer to work and compose in Max and then bounce parts to ableton to do further structuring. In other words I like to stay in one software program at a time when I work. Max4Live is attractive because both programs are now one. As for monome patches, I suggest just getting the most out of them as stand alone programs. These funky rewire and soundflower setups are just too unreliable imo.
