[c74] Soundcard crashes: no more coreaudio

Post by drones » Mon Nov 09, 2009 11:59 pm

Hi,

When I just open a Max For Live patch while I'm on Live, quit Live and after reopen it, the audio device is disabled.
No audio is selected but there is Coreaudio.

When I choose the coreaudio, I can select the Digisesign HW (002) for the audio inputs, but I can't with the audio outputs because once I select the Digisesign HW for the outputs, the device jump to 'No audio'. Impossible to set the Driver Type to CoreAudio. Even I switch off the Digi 002.

With 8.1b7 and 8.1b8. But then with 8.0.9

And if I want to run Pro Tools, it's same.
With this message: the hardware is used by another application or not connected

The only solution is to restart the computer.

Everything worked well and fine until I install Max For Live

Thanks

Hi,

Sorry about this. We have identified some problems with the way MFL is setting audio preferences. We hope to have them fixed in the next installer. Please let us know if the problem continues. The next MFL installer should be along in the next day or so.

Cheers

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Tanks a lot for this prompt response. I will let you know if the problem continues with the next installer,
