nice! I usually use the pages application for this kind of functionality but m4l enables great possibilities. It would be interesting if we could have a modular approach when implementing these patches so there would be a certain level of compatibility between m4l patches for the monome, for example it could be possible to add scene launch buttons by adding another max patch after the monome session patch

Or assigning patches to some meta patch, similar to pages.

I agree with hakan in that pages does a great job to keep things like clip launcher, scene launcher separate and somewhat user configurable.
I'm most interested in having pages of applications or max devices, is that easy to implement? Triggerable preferably by a Midi button. I'm quite new to max!
+1 new version!

It works quite well to continue to use pages as the selector and then specify different ports on each m4l device which are routed as ext apps in pages. So, as long as the udp ports are not everywhere in the patch it's quite easy.
