What genre would you say you typically work in?

I generally write in the Crumhorn Style.

IMO: Genres are defined by listeners, journalists and the music industry. It helps them to get a handle on the vast amount of music being produced in the world. But musicians need to be free to produce whatever music they can imagine.

Adopting a genre is too limiting. Just do what you like and let others classify it if they feel the need.

I used to describe my music as Deviant Electro (fan of meshuggah's banner "deviant swedish audio")

but since I discovered "Porn Groove" in the list of genres that Lame encoder provides, then I use this term despite the fact that I really don't make any porn groove (moog music?)
