when you're performing live and you open a new set, it is SO annoying to have to quit full screen mode, go in the preferences, click on "send updates", close prefernces, and go back to full screen for something that should obviously be a feature (i can't find a reason why you wouldn't want your controler to be up to date with the track you're going to play). another solution would be to have the "send update" button directly on the main window.
2. SEND TEMPO DATA!!!
when you click on "send update", the tempo data is not sent. so if you have a controler mapped to it (as i do), you have to make sure to set the tempo with it, otherwise if you change it during a performance, you may have a sudden jump in tempo value, which can ruin your performance (like you're playing at 90bpm, and the tempo knob was close to a 140bpm value, you touch it, and.... i let you imagine the result...)
