Deep tech-house type tune
Re: Deep tech-house type tune
What can I say. The orginal producers of the tracks did a great job recording it but are you intentionally trying to put us to sleep? You mixed the same beat over and over again for 8 minutes. Mix it up with other samples in your repertoire. Keep up the work.
Re: Deep tech-house type tune
Thanks for the input.
The original producers are all me, haha, apart from the reverby clap track which is a dusty ol' soul loop, and the deep vocal snippit saying "eeyyyeh". The drums are all battery one shots, and the keys and bass were all played by myself using Operator, 3rd party vst effects tho, and the main vox loop was recorded on my decrepit old Shure mic.
I'm not sure if more variation on this piece would actually improve it, I've been listening to alot of deep tech stuff like La Pena recently, and letting a groove ride for 8 mins can work really with this type of music. It's made for a club, so only the central 4 mins of the mix would be heard on it's own, if that. I think I could add some jazzy bass fills and maybe chop up the kick in a few places tho

Well with that being said. I guess your perception is better. You the artist kwow best what you are conveying to your audience. Keep doing what you're doing and I will hope the club patrons are on the dance floor rocking to it.
