how can i turn a stereo track into a mono track?

Just got live 4, and i havn't figured out how to turn a stereo track into a mono track.

my problem is that a bassline was recorded by accident into the left channel only. i'd like to be able to center it.

how can i do this, by making the track mono?

or can i isolate the left channel?

or any other way?

i bet theres a 'one click' solution, i'm just new to the program.

insert the utility plugin (ableton audio plugin) and hit the L. this will make it play the left channel only in a stereo sum.
