tips, things to look out for or not to overlook when rendering?
I need to export for someone else on protools.
Is there a best way(method) to export all tracks at once?

just do an export -> all tracks.
double check sidechaining works when you do that, otherwise, its pretty painless

most important.....make sure all start times are exactly the same. And give them the BPM and any time signature changes.

Just another point, I think with 'export all tracks' they are rendered through the master which means they will all be stereo files or at least dual mono. You will also have exports of any grouped tracks plus the tracks that make up that group.

edit: other than the master .wav file you get at the end of course

(to post before timothyallan) and returns. If you didn't set up returns delete them from the session view mixer.

My bad on the "rendered through the master" thing, I assumed that's why they were stereo, sorry for the misinformation.

Stupid question; what do you mean by "all have the same start times"? I think I know what you mean but I'm not sure. Before export all, do you freeze each track or bounce to audio tracks? Should each track of bounced audio be of the entire song, regardless of how long that tracks performance is? That way it's easy to line up in other DAW, right? I need to figure this it out also. Thanks.

The easiest way would be to have the start and end times exactly the same regardless how long each track is. For example, you have a 3 minute song and one of your tracks is only 5 seconds long in the middle of the song, you should still bounce all tracks the same start and end times.
