I'm sure this has been covered so it's an easy one....
Does anyone know of a 3rd party midi effect that can be used to add modulation to any Live parameter? And yes I know it's possible with Max for Live. I'm trying to get it set up without buying anything new.

you could try making one in sonic birth. its a free program sorta like max, but free, and not as good, lol
it doesnt take too long to learn either, just make sure you read the manual. you should be able to do it within an hour or so, including reading the manual.

Re: LFO's on any parameter
interesting....might be a possibility. however I swear I've heard of a simpler way to do it (like just a free VST ready to go).

Yes, wasn't there an LFO plug-in recently in that plug-in developers competition that was posted here, but I think it was Mac only...
Edit: yeah, I was thinking of this thread: http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=128020 - and this app: http://www.kvraudio.com/developer_chall ... hp#dc09_32 - mac only, but is this the kind of thing you're looking for...?
