hi guys this is prob very simple but havent a clue how to do it!

how do u save a drum paternu u created and put it in the audio layout so i can loop it?

please be mire specific about where, how you created what. maby then some answers will come.

is it a .wav? is it a redrum pattern? is it an impulse pattern?
did you read the manual?

its a drum pattern made with the impluse item! how can i use the pattern that i made and use it as a loop in the live section?

I won't say much ..but reading the fine manual and Ctrl+r should give you a small clue

did you make the pattern in the arrangement view and you want to put that pattern in the session view or was it the other way around.
either way after you've made the pattern click and hold on it and drag it to the other section that you want.

find out the correct terminology for what your asking, iow learn what the different parts in live are called so that people will know what you are talking about when you're asking for help.

are you in session view (where the clips are lined up in the vertical tracks) or in arrangement view (where the clips are lined up in horizontal tracks)? you'll want to learn how to render to get the midi track changed to an audio track. if you haven't already, go through the included tutorials in Live. it sounds like you might be jumping in to far and getting ahead of yourself. andrew
