Deleting tracks via midi

Hi,
I’m using Ableton Live to record guitar sessions. With a midi foot-pedal I’m doing this common process of building sound blocks. When I make some mistakes recording, I need to erase the track, not only use the follow down block, because a have the horizontal lines already composed. I have the excellent suggestion to use Bome’s Midi Translator and send keyboard message to Ableton, but <Delete> is the only unable key in this software. I used to compose with Max, and now I’m sending the midi messages to Ableton via Max, that’s great. Someone knows how can I send the keyboard message “delete” with a midi translator or using Max?

Don't know anything of that, but the backspace key also deletes. Maybe...
