Playback in the clip editor

If I have a bunch of clips loaded up in the session view, and maybe have some green triangles lit up from playing around in the session view, and then double click on one clip to see it in the clip view - how do I play back just that one clip in the clip view as I'm tweaking it? It seems like Live defaults to playing every lit up clip even when I scrub in the clip editor and the only way to just work on that clip is to solo the channel that clip is in. Is there an easier way to just mess around with the clip directly?
