Voxengo GlissEQ?
Voxengo GlissEQ?
Must've missed this...seems it's been out for 4 years, but I've never really heard of it.
I have some Voxengo plugs and really like them ( sonically, anyway...those GUIs make me feel ill). But only saw this on KVR yesterday.

Big update by all accounts...and less than a hundred bucks...so may try it out.
I'm particularly drawn by the intelligent dynamic EQ function.
Anyone use it already?

I played with the demo, thought it sounded great myself.

I really hate Voxengo GUIs, but the plugs sound good, and are quite stable.

Oh i really liked this plug in Ver. 2.0 on the PC but then a changed to mac. and now i have it back. It´s really a great EQ.
Re: Voxengo GlissEQ?
Interesting. I'm going to give it a whirl and report back.
I wonder if there's some sort of compression going on in there with the 'dynamic' EQ filter?

Re: Voxengo GlissEQ?
Almost the opposite really, it only applies the boost or cut based on the input signal.

i've been waiting for the mac update for gliss eq for at least a year. for me, voxengo are some of the better plugs out there. for the money they're almost a no brainer.
Re: Voxengo GlissEQ?
tried the demo last night... it is great... heard some good stuff from my PC friends before so very happy it has been ported...
tried it on cleaning up some drums with resonances... clinical and natural sounding... superb...

Re: Voxengo GlissEQ?
Voxengo's newer GUIs like Elephant 3 and Varisaturator are actually pretty nice and a lot less 2004 looking than some of the older GUI designs.
More importantly - many of Alexsy's plugins do excellent things and for a modest price. I rate most of his plugins as high as PSP, Sonalksis, Sonnox, etc.
If you need a Sample Rate Converter, R8BrainPro is also the best thing I've heard.
And you Mac guys keep up the support - the more of you buy into his plugins, the more he will convert from his full range from PC to Mac OSX.

The glissEQ is very very good sounding and highly overlooked plugin.
