hey all.
was reading a carpel tunnel article in a music mag earlier this year, and am interested in the kensington turbo mouses mentioned in it a few times.
i'm able to get one of the old ones, it's a 64100 model, but as i understand it, it was mostly used on macs, and uses an ADB connector. If I use the ADB->USB adapter I have, will I be able to use it on my XP computer?
thought somebody here might know
many thanks, louis.
track ball mouses - on windows?
Re: track ball mouses - on windows?
I have two of the 64213. One still in the box unopened. I love using it so much that I bought a spare one. So far, no problems with the first. I have used it since 2001. Just shows the longevity of these trackballs. I'm using it with XP without any problems. I haven't used any other mouse since.
Not familiar with the 64100. But if it was me, i'd scope out for a new 64213 or a 64325. They are expensive, but it's well worth it!

Re: track ball mouses - on windows?
cool.
thanks for the heads up.
can't really spend a lot of money at the moment, so i think i'll have to pass on the model you suggested... i just mentioned this one because I found it on ebay for cheap, and i've read some older but positive reviews on it.
so was hoping i could use it on my newer PC system.
many thanks.
