There must be a catch somewhere??? Surely, a new version or something is going to announced in the new year?
I don't see a catch.. Reaktor 6 has been sort of announced for the first half of 2010..
besides that, Reaktor 5 could very well serve you for many years to come without having to upgrade to v.6
and 99,- gives you access to roughly 3000+ devices.. pure steal.. :P
Cheap upgrade path to 6 as well.

hmm, strange,
I don't see that folder or that instrument.
ah well - there's enough here to be going on with.

It's very odd to be looking at this interface after so many years away. I can still remember how it works though. Well worth the money.

By any chance, do you know if it's possible to run NI products registered to different accounts on the same machine? I'd love to get Reaktor and Absynth for 198$/130€ instead of just Reaktor alone for €99. But I doubt I could use them on my machine together with my other NI products... I'd love to get both but I don't want to get in trouble either.
Any hints?

I got them to consolidate 2 accounts I had (as I had to change my e-mail address due to it being hacked but couldn't wait to demo Guitar Rig 4, so set up a new account on hotmail to download the demo). They did this fine (after asking me a security question or something like that by email), but it took them around 5 business days to get to it.

As for the other, I don't know and don't see EWISTRAND much here these days, but you could maybe try PMing him as he is the Native INstruments guru on here (I think he's a forum mod for them). I don't know if NI support would be working on a Sunday otherwise I would say contact them (by phone if poss, given the time sensitive nature of their offer).

someone talk me into getting Absynth. :?

I think FM8 is a bit harsh sounding for what I like to do, I don't do those large Prodigy-esque leads.

I've heard lots of mediocre reviews of Massive and it seems to be on sale often.

Reaktor at $100 would be great but I'm not learning that and max4Live at the same time.

I've wanted Reaktor for years, mainly because I've yet to find a better reverb, so I took advantage of that deal immediately. It wouldn't matter if you never looked under the hood, just the included synths and FX are incredible, let alone the online library. It's a complete no-brainer, do you want one good synth or hundreds that are easily as good (or better) than Massive etc?

I'm extremely glad I bought this, I've been deliberating over whether to get the Redline reverb for months because it's supposed to sound like the Reaktor Spacemaster (not as good imho), now I have that and version 2 for less money, AND the whole of Reaktor as a bonus.

I'm like a kid in a sweet shop, the NI Reaktor library has seen a lot of me over the weekend.

reaktor for 99 euro is a no brainer... you don't need to learn it at all... the standard library and user library easily justify the purchase alone...
just grab what you need and if it's for the reverbs alone, having a very good reverb palette for Live for 99 euros.

I wondered if I'd have buyers remorse off this, because I'm not a "bleaps and glitchy grains" kind of guy anymore. But there really are some good non bleepy instruments and effects in the factory and user lib.

This one impressed me (among others) -
Silverwood, Breath controlled physical model brass and woodwind synthesizer

whoa whoa whoa
sorry to say you might have done this the wrong way around.

Reaktor = $99
upgrade from Reaktor5 to Komplete 6 - $339 !

that way you get Reaktor, Kontakt, Massive, FM8, Battery, Absynth and Guitar Rig for just a little over the price you would be paying for only the 3 synths. Kontakt and Battery come with a metric fuckton of samples of course.

The Synthi AKS emulation's good too, this https://co.native-instruments.com/index ... tchid=6747 (Eminent-V 310 Strings Ensemble v1.0) took me right back and made me listen to Oxygene again, first album I ever bought.
