Hello.
I am the owner of a MacBook Pro with which I make my DJ sets with Live.
The MBP has 2 USB ports linked to a Evolution UC-33E and an M-Audio O2.
What I want to do is to use a sampler like the AKAI MPD18 to insert some tracks (jingles) into its memory and recall them by pushing one of its 16 buttons.
(I think that's its destiny, or am I doing wrong?)
My main problem is that I have no other USB ports available.
How can I solve this problem?
Could you please tell me:
- If it's true that I can insert jingles into the MPD18's memory and recall them with the above instructions
- If a method for linking it to my MBP exists
Thanks!!!

Re: Some questions about the AKAI MPD18 controller
The MPD18 is merely a controller and has no sampling capability
