Can anybody help a semi-retarded individual figure out why this isn't working? I try to map it like I'd map anything else: Right-click on Master Tempo --> Click Edit MIDI Map --> twist the Cue Level knob.... but no dice.
I'd appreciate any help, as tempo changes are pretty much the only time I need to touch my laptop now.
Thanks!

Re: APC40: Remapping cue level to Master Tempo
As long as the APC40 is set up as a control surface in your MIDI prefs this shouldn't be an issue.
Also make sure that the Track and Remote buttons are ticked in BOTH Input and Output sections as well.
The tempo area now has two mappable areas. Before the decimal point is coarse tempo and after the decimal point is fine tempo control. Make sure you are mapping the one you want.
I normally do exactly what you are asking about with the fine tempo. Ctrl-M, click after the decimal point, turn the cue level knob on APC, Ctrl-M. VIOLA.
