Has anyone managed to get 7up working with nonome and live 8 yet?

Im following all the instructions, but once the set loads up i get the "Live 8 has encountered an error and will exit" message. Live 8 and nonome is otherwise working fine for me.

One thing that comes to mind is that the set for 7up needs two instruments from the suite, which I dont have. Are these instruments hardwired into the set?

Also, I dont have M4L and wont be getting it anytime soon. Now that v2 of 7up is released native to M4L does it mean that other versions will stop development? Is it even worth spending time on the java version?

There is a version of the 7up template that works for version 1.4 even if you don't have Live 8 Suite. If you want to test to make sure if it works first, try enabling all demos in Live 8 and then loading the template set. Otherwise, poke around on the monome forums and look for the sevenuplive template that doesn't include Analog and Tension.

I don't know what is going to happen with the non-m4l version of 7up, but the developers may be willing to add some changes made in v2 back to the older version.

First off, i could not be happier with the discovery of this emulator.
I'm having a bit of trouble getting samples to play back. I've been scowering through the message boards from here and the monome website. The lights are responsive and i can load the samples into the drop box in mlrV and nonome and maxruntime seem to work fine. I've turned off the midi devices so its inly running through launchpad and maxruntime. But the samples don't playback when i press the corresponding rows on the launchpad. IS there a setting i need to change?.
i followed all the instructions thus far; dac is on and my soundcard is on CoreAudio Built In OutPut, i cant for the life of me figure out what the problem is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Slight development,

Sample playback work in the version of mlr included in nonome but not with the current version MLRV, does this means its a problem with MLRV or with the nonome software?

Make sure you have the MLRV with the bugfix for Max 5.1. Or use mlrv 27.11.9 with Max 5.0.8,
