our parents death is inevitable and inescapable
you are talking through your assholes if u think u would laugh at rape jokes make rape jokes or find rape jokes acceptable if your daughter was assaulted. dont talk such obvious bullshit
most decent people find rape humor unacceptable without first having to know how it is
I dont know exactly what's the fight here, but there is something like black humor.
To me it is there to help overcome the black side of life.
The problem with black humor is that it can be easily misunderstood or misintepreted.
A guy once told me: My grandfather died in a concentrationcamp, he fell off from the watchtower.
To me that was funny, to somebody else it can be offending.
Its all in the context.
In short it is a cultural / experience thing. Living abroad teaches you to be tolerant and accept cutlural differences. It is called being open minded. Maybe those that are deeply offended should take a chill pill and realise there is no malice intended where as this thread is clearly intended as an act of spite.

Mayube he was getting his chest hair waxed and someone squirted the hot wax all over his face after he fell asleep on the table, so they ended up waxing the top of his head too.
