My feeling is that the majority of discussion is relevant to both platforms, so this is a bad idea. Steinberg do it on the Cubase forums and I've never liked it.

Maybe *three* boards is the answer (common, PC and Mac) but I think the best solution is just to avoid ignore any irrelevant threads.

can I guess that you are a mac guy? hehe...

personally, I use both. my studio has a PC, and that's where I construct my sets, but when I perform I use an apple laptop.

I know several people who use both, and in the never ending mac/pc war, ableton live is one of the few applications that shows no prejudice in function, performance, or operation- and the user-forums would be a bad place to start.
