Live2.0.1 process under win2000

Post by Mbazzy » Thu Jan 16, 2003 9:28 am

I've witnessed already at several occasions under win2000that after quitting Live 2.0.1, the process nevertheless is still hanging/present resulting in errors, no audio etc. when starting Live (new instance) again later [before I was aware of this behaviour] ...

Hi Mbazzy,

does it happend always or just sometimes?

What I know is that when you quit Live and watching the process viewer at the same time, sometimes it could take a while (mostly some seconds) until the Live prozess is gone. The duration seems to depend on how much memory was allocated (by loading samples, recording, effects) in Live. I noticed this behaviour also with other applications, escpecially with the MS Visual Studio.

regards,
Alex

Have it at least once a day and when it happens it can happen that the process is still running underneath a few hours after I last used the program ....
