Well, I own Sampler so it ends up that this isn't really that big of an issue for me, but ...
In Simpler (which frequently I prefer because it's so lightweight) I can't get any change in the rate if it is set to synch to the clock. As soon as I set it over to Hz, I am able to sweep the frequency using the device control knob (Bank 3, Encoder 2: Rate).
On Sampler, "Rate" actually refers to switching between Hz and beatsync, and the Rate knob works to do that. Then there is a separate "Sync" knob premapped which goes between Hz and beats... then a separate knob (for some reason) that goes between a sync'd Rate and a nonsync'd Freq.
All fine and good, unless I didn't own Sampler.
Anybody else notice this phenomenon?

Yep, noticed it as well, but there are midi-signals coming from my APC40 which are going to Live. Could it be a tiny bug in the program?
Another question regarding banks: How do I enter the 'Best-of-Banks' Bank with the APC40?
Thanks!
