Interesting Issues with Live and while using NI VSTs

sounds like this program is becoming really crap.

What was the first live version you started with ?

s'cuse me dude, i guess im making a generalization.

i started with 8.1 last week.

ive just never heard of such bugs before, most folks i know have run stable on older versions for years.

I've used Live since version 1.5 and up every upadte, so I've been through some trouble sometimes with Live and the support has been tremendous for all those years, even with an evergrowing user base. And i'm still here playing and teaching it in workshops for musicians and sound engineers. I'd suggest you to test 8.05 or 8.09 (both have been working flawlessly for me since installation) to see if this is related to the soft or another factor, maybe, as someone suggested, your soundcard's drivers.

where can i find 8.0.5 im willing to try , ive only seen links to beta downloads, id rather have official versions.

this is really disheartening.

surely my driver cant be the problem, as it was around way before ableton, it should be up to live to sort that out, not my interfaces problem, they cant have to release drivers everytime live updates, the same with your problem, NI are major players in the industry, besides me, most people use them, surely live tested them before release.

The original topic which was problems with Live and NI VSTs. When I don't use Native Instruments stuff, my setup is very solid. Not bad considering that M4L was just released.

I own legit copies of absynth 4 and Kontakt 3.5 and have had real problems with them in the past. NI are known for upgrading to new versions with bugs left inside, although things got better.
