copy/paste midi files into eachother....wanna make it work!

recently i updated my g5 to 10.3.8 and now I can t use copy and paste to merge midifiles. in 10.3.6 i tried a few times and it seemed to work....
the only thing I do is drag a midi file into the arrangement.... then i select another midifile in the browser and copy that. then i try to paste it into the midifile that is in the arrangement already. either live crashes or i only get the midi file content all on one note.....
i need this feature very much.....please tell me i can make this work....

Hello Jane,

You can´t merge Midifiles. Also, i can not reproduce this with Live 4.1.
Can you mail me your system information and crashlog to
[email protected] ?
