[Live 7.0.x] on WinXP - A serious program error has occurred

I sent this into support, but figured I'd post it here to see if anybody else is having the same issue.

I compose and record music using Live 7 Rewired into Reason 4.0.1 on WinXP Home edition version 2002 SP3 using a DigiDesign 002R. I have ProTools 7.3.1cs7. I use an MPK49 MIDI controller via an Midiman Midisport. I run an Intel Quad Q6600 @ 3.01ghz and 3.25gb of RAM with an NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT running dual LCD monitors.

I've been using 7.0.18 -- I've also experienced the same behavior on the .16 and .14 point releases.

My problem seems intermittent, but I've noticed this occurring when I add a track or I've move a track over in the session view by dragging it across to where I want it to be. It also seems to occur after having the session open for over a few hours. After doing these actions, I will get a dialogue for the serious program error and Live must shut down. The program crashes and there then emits a terrible digital distortion out of my soundcard, I can't kill Live and the crash brings down Reason. I can't kill the sound without a hard power restart because Live is unable to be terminated from Windows Task Manager. My sessions are usually over 12 - 16 tracks with both tracks recorded in Live and Rewired tracks from Reason.

This has caused me irreparable damage to a Reason file earlier in the year. Luckily that hasn't happened again since, but it is giving me great concern as it seems to happen more frequently now.

Is this familiar to anybody else?

Also, FYI...the email address in Live the 7 support menu still says [email protected] which now bounces.
