view multiple notes?? ´some other questions

please i will like to know if it is possible to see multiple midi channels at once... like in Fl studio where u can see ghost channels..just so when u compose or put something together u can see what is going on in another channel of choice.. for example you see the chords in one midi channel and then now you are making a melody in another but you can see the "chords" midi channel as ghost notes.. just for reference and guidance purposes...

i find this very handy when doing complex orchestation.. please is this possible??

and i also want to know why the Max4live step sequencer is such a fail.. i spent 1 hour trying to get this thing to do what it is suppose to do.. why isnt the piano roll-/ editor the same as the regular ableton one??... PLEASE Ableton developer implement a step sequencer just as flexible as the FL studio one.. flstudio in ableton is such a big mess so i try not to do that!... i dont care paying a couple of extra 100 dollars just for it to get implemented in ableton to be HONEST!

Ableton you will WIN alot of fans if a REAL step sequencer gets implemented!.. nway lol can someone be nice enought to answer my question above..
