Undo.cfg file recovery ----Is It Possible?

O My God I am about to vomit i am so upset!

I had been working on stuff for a long time and using the "would you like to recover your work" function when ableton crashes / quits and anyway. My computer died when i was working on a project and i needed a new logic board. So I took out my hard drive and swapped it for an old one and then took my macbook to apple to get the logic board replaced. I just got it back and i took out the new hard drive and replaced it with my old one with my ableton live work on it. So I booted it and when i launched ableton hoping it would start back up just like i left it and it asked me to unlock the app and so i did this as it had my saved code then ableton started up a new project and modified the undo.cfg file. So all of my work has vanished i guess.
Is there a way to recover a previous state of an undo.cfg file or is there a hidden one still on my hard drive. Can Anyone help Me? Any suggestions? I want to die. Thanks
