i dunno, when i do PAs, if i boost my kicks or bass at 20Hz it defo makes the room shake. I guess my eq might not be that accurate though and it could be that im boostin the freqs just above 20hz (psp masterQ)

IMO this was a very useful thread, concise, epic and otherwise, thanks. with respect to the amount to boost, it's helpful to me to remember all frequencies are not perceived alike:

interesting post. could anyone supply some presets for the eq settings mentioned for EQ Four? or The Abletons?
