Like a one useful feature could be made a scene routhin so you can start recording complete band simultaneously but have possibility to chose tracks that will be used only for submixin ... so one switch that can rout them one multiple sub group tracks that actually recording a output of all their tracks but yet special routhin output of a track that was used for so called many to one routin stay free so it could look like cubase or logic Protools bus systems just with faster switching and capability of recording route schemes ...
That would be somethin like a side connection on modular synth so that have that possibility similar to tracks in cubase
I'm not certain how safe is that for audio engine in ablaton but if it can be made it should be

It can be maybe achieved with improving a send capability to send on other tracks but yet with some user decided regulations to which it can and to what not
Like chosen how many send you want on track and when you want to send although choosing input level so that bring all that digital console capabilities into live can choose whether to send to other channel or to effect channel yes that involve some sort of multiple output to multiple input routin but it can be achieved just like in life in live
