Some Good Drums for Impulse???

Post by CraigD » Fri Mar 11, 2005 9:27 am

Anyone know of any good plug-in companies that have good drums for use in Impulse?

I know a company made a post about this awhile back saying they we the ultimate in drums libraries for Live.. Anyone have a link to their website?

Any reviews, comments, suggestions for some good hip-hop drums. besides the obvious sampling and creating my own kits and saving them in impulse.

Check out the Beatbox, Tacklebox and Travelbox demo versions from TrackTeam Audio for a start:

This site also has a couple of free Impulse kits that you can download:

the downloads at soundexplorer are awesome. the kits sound great.

also, the templates for all the ableton downloads are brilliantly contructed. be sure and check out the 'minimal saw' and 'one sample' downloads. less can definitely be more...work it, germany!

I got a great tip for you guys.
If you download Live with the additional samples.
Then you can make at least 30 impulse kits from the sounds that are in the single sounds folder, the sounds from the demo songs and the sounds that are in the starter kits.
Just load them up. tweak them. and save as a preset.

Cheers
