this seems to be my only real method - trying to create an inner vacuum by sucking while holding breath, but it almost seems to make me pass out from holding my breath, but it's the only that's ever worked

Do this:

-Stand up and put you arms above your head reaching towards the ceiling.
-Stretch as far as you can WITHOUT going on to your tip toes.
-Take a huge SLOW breath while reaching up (still not on your tip toes)
-Let that breath out VERY SLOWLY and you hiccups will disappear.
-You have just stretched your diaphragm and released the air trapped inside.

If you hiccup before you reach 10 start over without releasing your breath.

Keep trying this until you reach ten. This works for me 99% of the time.

Take a mouthful of water, bend over like you're touching your toes, swallow the water, wait a few seconds, stand up. Works for me everytime.

ive had hiccups like no other before, went to bed with them, couple hours later woke up and still had them. Holding my breath has been one of the only things that i have gotten to work, but that doesn't work all the time. All that other stuff thats out there absolutely does not work for me. I can only hope each time the holding my breath works.

I was waiting for the hiccup and then I'd puff real quick and try to hold it in.

I figured I was holding my breath for both reasons.. Didn't work so I still needed peanut butter.
