TastyKake4Life!

ps the true american nastiness is the deep fried twinkies and deep fried snicker bars that can be had at state and county fairs in the summer.

In Australia we have deep fried Mars bars.

Chinese have deep fried ice cream, damn I love that stuff. I was living with my best friend for a couple of months and we would get stoned and call the chinese restaurant who had a minimum $20 order for deliveries and we would get the whole order as deep fried ice creams. Thank god im a skinny runt.

Just had my breakfast: porrige with lingonberry preserve and milk.
And a kiwi.
I don't feel like trying a deepfried Toblerone. That would be like Fear Factory. Made me think of diapers...

Hostess did file for bankruptcy back in October 2004. Twinkies and bread products are not much in vogue anymore with all the negative news on the rise obesity in the US. The fat people have it bad all around this sad news.

In the Move "My Cousin Vinny" 1992, Toblerone had a display in the store the guys were in.

I can't believe you said mook. that is a pretty offensive, although obscure slur

MOOK is NOT an obscene slur. It comes from Jimmy Cagney films. All the mobsters underlings were called mooks. If you can link it to any race - then I will stand corrected.

Upon further investigation I found this:
A 'mook jonk' is a wooden dummy used in kung fu. Word defined as "an ineffectual, foolish, or contemptible person."

This came from chinese slang. Still not a slur as I see it, though.
