Bugfixes
Receiving an invalid parameter index from Max could crash Live.
Inverting a macro mapping range would not work properly. [6238]
Under certain conditions, extract an existing groove of clip would crash Live. [6235]
Having a Max device sending many blob changes during saving could crash Live.
A malformed database file would interrupt user interactions like renaming files, saving presets, recording, etc. [6230]
Having a particular Live set loaded and searching for media files could crash Live. [6241]
On Mac OS X, under certain conditions, making Live the foreground window could lead to a crash.

Hi there,
I also got the "invalid product ID" problem, so I was glad to see that a new beta version will fix this.
However I searched the whole forum for at least one hour now but I could not find a spot where to download beta versions.
So where can I download the beta versions ?
I just have found a thread saying "go to http://www.ableton.com/beta" - doing this I can only see a website saying "beta testing is over, thank you" - but the latest post here is just a few days old, pretty confusing.
I would really appreciate having a decicated download website for betas and all available versions for all users with a registered Ableton product, good spot would be somewhere the "Download" area on the Ableton website.
Searching the forum is not very confortable anyway and having to search the whole forum just to find a download link for an officially anounced beta is really frustrating.
By the way I spent more than 3 hours today searching the web / the forum trying to find solutions for other issues in my Live 8 installation - I haven't got the chance to make one single second of music today using Live.
I didn't buy Live to test software, I bought live to make music !
(My Live 7 was a lot more reliable and stable.)
