I keep having this issue - when working in arrangement view, a bunch of "time" exists past the point where all the channels no longer have clips playing, and if I select this time and cut/delete it, it doesn't completely go away. This is annoying because then when I want to view nothing but all the clip sections, I have to keep dragging the viewer in the overview to the left, so all that blank space doesn't appear in the arrangement. anyone know how to eliminate this?
thanks,

make clips that end on beat/count?
I don't get it. Why can't you change the grid to whatever setting you need 1/8, 1/32 etc. and clean up the track's audio in Arrange view by snapping the end in place?

If you put your track with your entire arrangement in view without dead space and then hit "CMD+E" you can remove it
