I hate to be a ball buster but what the f*ck. I just paid 300 dollars to find out that I am a forced beta tester? I love the idea of max for live but come on man, if you are going to sell a product, you better let me know what works and what doesn't before I buy it. I downloaded the latest beta and the patches are still broken. I am not about to jump through hoops to get it to work properly. I see others here have un installed and reinstalled live. While I admire their dedication I'm not going through all that.
This is exactly the kind of thing that makes me want a refund. I bought it on the 24th, the forum post about the patches was posted on the 23. I'm sorry but you need to let us know beforehand on the purchase page what's going on so we can make an informed decision about wether we want to purchase or wait until the bugs are worked out. Had I seen that, I probably would have waited.
I hate coming off like a jerk but this is very frustrating.

Re: max for live patches broken latest beta does not fix
Hello,
A very understandable reaction - the current situation is far from perfect.
We´re working very intense on this situation and you can expect the results soon.
For the moment, please see this thread:

If that doesn´t help, uninstall the Max for Live pack in Live and reinstall the Max for Live pack which can be found in your Max support folder.
Best,
Christian

Recently purchased Max4Live and it crashes every minute. I also feel like a beta tester who payed a lot... there goes my loyalty. You guys better come up with a quick solution.
