Heres my new EP entitled 3rd Time Lucky on Kindred Spirits!
I did all the production in Ableton live 8...
Lemme know what you think!

Fine city Sydney..I've been there. Overall all tracks appear to have a quirky swing and timing. Simplified 1-5 progression and aggressive filters. I have to admitt placing beats a little before and/or after do stray from the norm but sometimes it can get away from you if you go too far. Good use of samples though little from anything uncommon. The style of music in Austrailia may be tided closely to its culture which the masses elsewhere may not be able to relate. Personally, not my cup. Thanks for sharing.

Yo cheers for the feedback
Im a drummer and play all the parts in live with no quantize so not really "placing" anything per se
just experimenting with timing.
Definitely dont write music for the masses either, just a way to express where my heads at at any given time.
(which is usually pretty sideways! )

Interesting sonic constructions, 'Somewhat' has done something to my ears... one sound definitely goes up and down vertically while poking at my back teeth. Thanks for posting. What you use for drum input? Been thinking about getting some kind of pads setup, cos making beats via keyboard is limiting for me.

I use my oxygen 8 V2 keyboard for all midi (unless Im in my studio, Ill use my Virus TI keyboard)
esp when Im on the road (I really dig writing on headphones on my couch in front of the telly!!)
I used to use a trigger finger and now I use an MPD32 or a Roland SPDs triggering drum racks when I play live but I find the keyboard easier to map all my instruments and just jump between them when Im writing.
Glad you enjoy man!
